Hello DRON,

I just thought I'd drop you an e-mail and let you know how Buddy is doing.  He has been with us since February and now weighs 84 pounds.  His heart murmur hasn't changed (the vet says that is good) and his teeth are doing fine now.  He is such a big loveable guy.  We have two Doberman females (both spayed) for him to play with and he's pretty much king of the castle around here.  You met Casey Jade when we picked up Buddy and our newest member is a fawn Doberman named Brandi.  We recently moved to a bigger house with a bigger back yard (we have an eight foot privacy fence around a 75' x 80' area with trees).  Buddy usually keeps the peace around here when the girls get a little carried away.  A little bark from Buddy usually quiets them right down.  They run out back.  Buddy keeps up for a while and enjoys playing, but his favorite place seems to be on the couch or carpet in front of the TV and fireplace.  They all get Eukunuba for large breed now (no more separating the puppy food).  Casey and Brandl were born in August of 2003 so Buddy will have his playmates for quite sometime.

You should see the sparkle in his eyes (and mine) when Buddy and I go for rides in the Blazer and he has recently been taking me for walks (he's wonderful to walk uphill).  He is everything a Doberman should be and I am forever thankful that we came together.
