A dog has been surrendered to the rescue and is up for adoption.  He needs a place to stay where he has the loving warmth of home.  Would you be willing to open your home to one of our Dobermans on a temporary basis while we locate a forever home?

The rescue group pays for their veterinary care and donates food to help make this possible.  You add love and a warm friendly place to sleep!  We try to do everything possible to make the transition for our dogs comfortable.  This could not be possible without the help of generous people willing to open their homes.

If you fall in love with your foster dog and want to make him a part of your family that is always an option for you.

SHOWING US TO THE PUBLIC

Oh, please take me out!  I love to greet the public and look for my new home!

We usually show our dogs at Petco at 132^nd and Center every Saturday from 11-3. 

To make it easier we try to take 2 hours shifts so that people still have time to be with their families and tend to other obligations as well.

You simply will introduce the dog you are handling to interested people.  Each dog has a short biography that you can quickly refer to.

Big dog experience is a plus but we will be happy to train you.

It’s a great way to meet fellow dog lovers and get out precious dogs out for people to see.

Making new friendships is a great side benefit to this experience as well!

SITTING AT THE INFORMATION TABLE

If you don’t wish to show a dog but would like to sit at our table and hand out information to interested people that is an option for you.  The table is set up usually at Petco at 132^nd and Center on Saturdays from 11-3.

Come on out and meet some nice people and you’ll get plenty of tail wags and wet kisses to boot!

ADOPTIVE HOMES

NEWSLETTER, OFFICE HELP, COMPUTER MAINTENANCE HELP NEEDED

Everyone know that dogs are a great help in the office if you need a paper shredder but when it comes to typing or writing they don’t have an opposable thumb and just can’t get the job done.  They have the same problem when it comes to keeping our computers up and running.  They would be happy to do all of this for us if they just had those thumbs they weren’t born with!

Do you like to write or take pictures?  We could really use your help for our newsletter and website.  Our dogs love to be written about and have their pictures taken!

Do you have a gift for organizing and filing paperwork?  We could use your help there, too.

Maybe you have a knack for keeping computers up and running.  Your talents are needed too!

Maybe you are a born salesperson and with a gift for raising funds for our organization.  We are open to your ideas.

We always welcome donations. 

We are working on getting more training for our dogs so that they transition into new homes more easily.  We are also putting together kennels of our own for dogs who aren’t in foster care.

We are a volunteer organization so no one makes a salary from your donations.  They go to help with medical care for the dogs, food, housing, training.
